Udupi: Gang of woman robbing after sedating residents reported from town

Udupi: A gang of women who go to houses selling phenyl, make house members smell a sedative and rob the house has been reported from here.
The Manipal police station has issued a release saying that a group of five to six women are active in the town and on the pretext of selling phenyl make people smell a sedative asking to check the fragrance of the phenyl and rob the house after its residents have fainted.
The police release said that if residents see any stranger suspiciously walking in front of their house, they should stay away from them and inform the concerned police station.
