Udupi: Man falls into sea, dies while escaping bee attack

Udupi: A 65-year-old man died after falling into the sea while trying to escape an attack by a swarm of bees in Udupi.
The deceased has been identified as Vasudeva Salian (65), a resident of Nadipatna and a fisherman by profession.
It is said that the bees attacked him while he was spreading his net to catch fish near the sea. In order to escape from the attack, he ran into the sea and drowned.
Several others were also attacked by the bees and they have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
A case is registered at Padubidri police station.
