Udupi: Ten police officials, including the sub-inspector (SI) of Padubidri police station, have tested positive for Covid-19 after a birthday celebration was held inside the police station.
It is said that the Padubidri police station has been now sealed down for 24 hours and a school nearby is temporarily converted as a police station.
It is said that a birthday party was organized in the police station few days ago and all the the police personnel had dinner together in the station.
All the infected police personnel are placed under quarantine.
