U’khand CM visits Badrinath

Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat Sunday visited Badrinath to pay obeisance at the Himalayan shrine.
Rawat performed a ‘puja’ at the temple and prayed to Shri Badri Vishal for the prosperity of the state, an official release here said.
The Badrinath-Kedarnath Mandir Samiti welcomed the chief minister by presenting him a bead of ‘tulsi’, ‘prasad’ and ‘aangvastram’.
The chief minister also went to see the Rawal (chief priest of the shrine) at his residence.
