Senegal/ Mangaluru: Underworld don Ravi Pujari has been detained by the Senegal Police in western Africa’s Senegal as per the media reports.

Pujari who was on the ruin for last fifteen years was arrested on the basis of a tip-off by the Indian agencies.

It is gathered that the investigation agencies had found Ravi Pujari’s location to be Burkina Faso in western Africa before he was located in Senegal.
Ravi Pujari is wanted in a list of cases including extortion, kidnapping and murder.

On Monday (January 28), the Crime Branch of the Mumbai Police invoked the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against two alleged members of the Ravi Pujari gang.

William Rodricks and Akash Shetty were arrested by the Anti-Extortion Cell (AEC) earlier this month for threatening a builder.
