UP: Two senior officials killed, 15 ill after gas leakage at IFFCO plant

Prayagraj: Two persons died while 15 others hospitalised following a gas leakage at the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) plant in Phulpur, Prayagraj.
Ammonia gas leakage was reported from one of the units of the plant. The leakage has been stopped now and the situation is under control informed Prayagraj DM Bhanu Chandra Goswami.
The affected unit of the plant has been closed.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered a probe to investigate the cause of the incident.
