Uppinangady: 3 mechanics run over while they were repairing truck

Uppinangady: Three mechanics died after a pick-up truck run over them while they were repairing a broken-down truck.

The incident took place at Bajathur village near Nelyadi on the National Highway 75 on Monday.

Two of the mechanics died on the spot while the third died in the hospital after not responding to treatment.

The pick-up truck lost control and mowed down the three while they were repairing the truck on the roadside.

Police officials from the Uppinangady police station visited the accident spot for inspection.
