Uppinangady: Mother, toddler run over by bus while crossing road; killed

Uppinangady: A woman and her toddler were killed after they were run over by a bus in Uppinangady bus stand on Tuesday, October 12.

The deceased have been identified as Shahida (25), a resident of Shirlalu, Belthangady taluk and her son, Sahil (1).

It is said that when the woman and her toddler were crossing the road near the  Uppinangady bus stand, a KSRTC  bus ran over them.

Locals immediately rushed to the spot and expressed outrage over the incident. Police officials have registered a case and arrested the driver.
