VHP and Bajrang Dal members arrested

Mangaluru: Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) and Bajrang Dal activist staged a protest near PVS junction here today.

The activist protested against the killings of Bajrang Dal member Deepak Rao in Katipalla

Addressing the protest, VHP leader M B Puranik said that “The Siddaramaiah led Congress government is in support of minorities and are not supporting Hindus,”

“Congress is against the Hindu community. It is indirectly helping the terror groups to eliminate the Hindus,” he alleged.

Police had a tough time bringing the situation under control and arrested leaders like Jagadish Shenava, M B Puranik, Sharan Pumpwell and hundreds of other VHP and Bajrang Dal activists. They were later released.
