Hospet: Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and his wife M Usha arrived at the Municipal Ground here by a special helicopter of the Air Force on Friday evening to view Tungabhadra reservoir and the World Heritage Sites in Hampi.
The Vice President was welcomed by Minister of Tourism, Ecology and Environment Anand Singh.
Tight security was put in place across the city for the Vice President’s visit. People stood and watched along the road when the Vice President left for the Tungabhadra reservoir by road.
