Vijayapura: PUBG addicted teen hurls stones at houses, car

Vijayapura: A PUBG addicted teenager, who is said to have lost his mental balance owing to the game addiction, was found roaming in a semi-naked state and throwing stones at cars and houses. near Managuli Agasi here on Tuesday.

Disturbed by the aggressive behavior of the youth, the local residents tied him up with ropes and alerted Jala Nagar Police Station. Police officials who arrived at the spot got the youth admitted to the district hospital for medical care.

The youth has been identified as Mallikarjun Chandrakanth, 17, a resident of Laxmi Nagar of Vijayapura City. Upon getting information that the youth had been admitted to the district hospital, his parents rushed to the hospital and got him discharged on Wednesday morning stating that they will consult private hospital.

A couple of cars and houses were damaged by the wild act of the teenager. However as no complaint was lodged by the local residents against the youth, the police did not initiate further action.
