Vittal police personnel tests Covid +ve

Mangaluru: A police personnel attached to Vittal police station has reportedly tested positive for coronavirus on May 24.
It is suspected that the police personnel contracted the infection from a Mumbai returnee.
On May 14, a man who had arrived from Raigad had tested positive for coronavirus. It is now learnt that this man had visited the police station before he was placed in quarantine.
The district administration is yet to officially confirm the case.
