Wayanad: Man kisses Rahul Gandhi during visit to parliamentary constituency

Wayanad: Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi was taken by surprise when one of his supporters planted an unexpected kiss on his cheek here on Wednesday.

The incident took place during Rahul Gandhi’s visit to his parliamentary constituency Wayanad to survey flood-affected areas and review rescue and relief operations in the aftermath of the deluge following incessant downpour.

After interacting with the flood victims, Rahul was leaving the area in his car when one of his supporters leaned inside the car, pulled Gandhi towards him and gave him a peg.

Rahul, however, continued shaking hands with people of his constituency and his vehicle moved ahead after the brief interaction.

Earlier in February this year, a woman supporter had kissed Rahul Gandhi during a rally held in Gujarat.
