Bengaluru: Former Chief minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday questioned the hike in fuel prices across the country for the fourth day in a row.
In a tweet, Siddaramaiah stated that the whenever the crude prices go up the Central government is quick to pass on the burden to the common man but does not reduce prices when the crude prices fall.
“Petrol & Diesel prices are increased by approx ₹ 2 in 4 days!! @PMOIndia is very fast in burdening the common man when Crude price goes up but becomes numb to provide relief when Crude price goes down. How can we expect demand to improve when fuel price keeps increasing?,” he tweeted.
