Chikkaballapur: Chief minister (CM) BS Yediyurappa on Wednesday cautioned people to exercise caution stating if they fail to follow Covid appropriate behavior the government would be forced to reimpose a lockdown. Presently the government has eased the restriction in state, while continuing the night curfew.
Yediyurappa was speaking after inaugurating a makeshift hospital, to face the corona third wave at Doddaballapur in Bengaluru rural district here.
Pointing out that makeshift hospitals are being built only in six states of India, the CM said that the first such hospital has been inaugurated in Karnataka and expressed gratitude to private concerns who aided the government in building the 70-bed hospital.
On concerns over the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic, Yediyurappa assured that the government will handle it successfully
