Withdraw cases filed against farmers, says BSY

Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Monday directed the officials to withdraw cases filed against the Farmers, facing criminal charges for having participated in various agitations against the State Government in the recent past.
After meeting a delegation of the various organizations of the Karnataka Farmers Associations here, Yediyurappa issued directions to the officials to withdraw cases which were filed against the farmers on various occasions.
Yediyurappa also assured the farmers’ leaders, that the officials will examine the issue and take measures to withdraw criminal cases filed against the farmers, who were involved in various agitations.
