Bengaluru: An unidentified woman abducted a baby at the Majestic Bus Terminus when the couple arrived in the city from Raichur to visit a relative.
The incident happened when the couple reached Platform 19D to catch a bus to Mysuru Road.
It is gathered that the woman came to the baby’s mother on the pretext of helping her baby feed the water and after a while, both her baby and the woman were missing from the spot.
Thought the couple looked for the baby with the help of people, they could not locate the baby.
Following the complaint filed by the parents at the Upparpet police, the police formed a team and are scanning the CCTV footage to identify the accused woman.
Just three days before this incident, a three-year-of girl was rescued by Sampigehalli police three days after she was kidnapped. The girl was abducted when she was playing outside her house. Hailing from Raichur, the girl’s parents worked as labourer near Sampigehalli.
