Yakshagana scholar Dr Shridhar Uppur no more

Basrur: Former professor of Sharada College Basrur and Yakshagana scholar Dr Shridhar Uppur passed away on Sunday, January 10. He was 68.

Shridhar who was an expert in the field had written down many Yakshagana scripts and also used to perform Bhagavatike.

He had served as a Kannada professor at Sharada College Basrur.
