Yash’s next Kannada movie adds actor Akshay Oberoi

Actor Akshay Oberoi has joined the ensemble cast of the upcoming Kannada film ‘Toxic’, which is headlined by ‘KGF’ franchise actor Yash.

Oberoi, known for his roles in ‘Pizza’ and ‘Love Hostel’, took to Instagram Stories on Wednesday to share the news, posting a photo of a welcome hamper from the film’s production team. ‘Dear Akshay, Welcome to the team.

We’re thrilled to have your talent and energy on board for this project. Looking forward to creating something amazing together. Team Toxic,’ read the message on the hamper.

The film, described as ‘a fairy tale for grown-ups’, is being directed by Geetu Mohandas, who is known for her work on ‘Moothon’ and ‘Liar’s Dice’. Filming commenced last week in Bengaluru, and the movie is being jointly produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, targeting a 2025 release.
