Yedakumeri landslide: SWR extends train cancellations

In light of the recent soil erosion and landslide between Yedakumeri and Kadagaravalli stations in the Mysuru Division of the South Western Railway (SWR), the previously announced train cancellations have been extended.
The following train services will continue to be canceled as detailed below:
- 16511 KSR Bengaluru-Kannur: Extended up to 04.08.2024 & 05.08.2024
- 16512 Kannur-KSR Bengaluru: Extended up to 05.08.2024 & 06.08.2024
- 16595 KSR Bengaluru-Karwar: Extended up to 04.08.2024 & 05.08.2024
- 16596 Karwar-KSR Bengaluru: Extended up to 05.08.2024 & 06.08.2024
- 16585 SMVT Bengaluru-Murdeshwar: Extended up to 04.08.2024 & 05.08.2024
- 16586 Murdeshwar-SMVT Bengaluru: Extended up to 05.08.2024 & 06.08.2024
- 07377 Vijayapura-Mangaluru Central: Extended up to 04.08.2024 & 05.08.2024
- 07378 Mangaluru Central-Vijayapura: Extended up to 05.08.2024 & 06.08.2024
- 16515 Yesvantpur-Karwar: Extended up to 05.08.2024
- 16516 Karwar-Yesvantpur: Extended up to 06.08.2024
- 16575 Yesvantpur-Mangaluru Jn: Extended up to 04.08.2024
- 16576 Mangaluru Jn-Yesvantpur: Extended up to 05.08.2024
South Western Railway said that the General Manager, Additional General Manager, and other senior officers are actively monitoring the situation. Restoration efforts are ongoing, and the railway authorities are committed to resuming normal services as soon as possible.
