Yes Bank commits Rs 156 cr for Namami Gange project

New Delhi: Private sector Yes Bank today said it has committed Rs 156 crore to fund first Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) to be constructed at Varanasi under Hybrid Annuity-PPP Model. The bank has signed a deal with Essel Infraprojects for the financial closure of Rs 156 crore that will fund the STP under Namami Gange Project, a joint statement said.
Yes Bank, given its responsible banking ethos, is committed to sustainable projects in STPs and other related segments, which have significant social and ecological impact, it said.Share Samadhan to offer 5 pc discount to customers. Share Samadhan, a consultancy firm assists in recovery of unclaimed investment by financial institutions, today said it will provide 5 per cent discounts in fee as part of festival bonanza.
The company charges a certain amount of the total fund recovered but as part of festive season, customer would get the benefit of 5 per cent discount on the consultancy fee, Share Samadhan Director Abhay Chandalia said in a statement. The company assists citizens to recover their unclaimed investment and it has helped Indian citizens/NRIs to recover crores of their lost/forgotten/unclaimed investment.
Quoting some estimates, it said, there are over Rs 2.94 lakh crore lying unclaimed in the form of Provident Funds, physical shares, postal saving scheme, mutual funds, life insurance, inoperative bank accounts etc. Reliance General Insurance launches self endorsement facility. Reliance General Insurance Company today said it has launched ‘self-endorsement’ feature as a part of its effort to add to customer convenience.
The feature will reduce customers walking into branches or calling agents for small changes thus empowering them to make the changes anytime.
