Young Yakshagana artist dies of accidental drowning

Siddapura: A young Yakshagana artist died after accidentally drowning in a lake on November 18.

The deceased has been identified as Sandeep Shetty (24), a resident of Amasebailu village.

Reportedly, Sandeep had met with an accident two years ago after which he used to often feel dizzy. On November 16 when he did not return home for a long time his family members went looking for him and found his body floating in a lake nearby.

Amasebailu police have registered a case in this regard.
