Youth arrested for assaulting on-duty lady doc

Mangaluru: The Pandeshwar police on Friday, December 28 arrested a youth for assaulting an on-duty lady doctor allegedly after an argument between the two over the treatment of the former’s father.

The arrested Abdul Rahiman (28), a resident of Jeppu Morgan’s Gate father undergoing at a private hospital here. On Wednesday, December 26 Rahiman along with his elder sister had gone to the hospital to enquire on his father’s health when he got into an argument with the lady doctor with regards to the treatment, whereafter Rahiman is said to have assaulted the doctor.

the lady doctor lodged a complaint against three people in this regard at Pandeshwar police station.
