Youth arrested for snatching college girl’s bag at knife point

Moodbidri: A youth has been arrested by Moodbidri police in connection with a two year old case wherein a female college student was robbed of her bag at knife point at Paladka Mavinakatte. The arrested accused is identified as Naveen Gowda (31 of Mucchur village.

The accused was arrested on suspicion by a police team which was on patrolling duty at Alangar. During interrogation it was revealed that he was wanted in a case reported from Mavinakatte in 2017.
