Mysuru: Indeed, even as Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has been making a few endeavors to persuade the Vokkaliga community leaders to help him in the elections, individuals from the Jilla Vokkaliga Yuva Vedike said they will never back Siddaramaiah.

Association President N Rajkumar firmly said “We support the Congress party, but not Siddaramaiah,”

At a press meet, the members said Siddaramaiah had been targeting the group members since he ended up Chief minister. He agitated officials, ministers and the general public who supported him in his prosperity up until this point.

“It is unavoidable to defeat the Congress party, in the event that it goes to the elections under the initiative of Siddaramaiah,” he said.

Talking about the Vokkaligas’ meeting composed by Siddaramaiah in the city on Friday, the members stated, with the exception of a couple of individuals, a greater part of the members were non-Vokkaligas.

He also added that Siddaramaiah and his supporters had paid cash to the members to attend the meeting.
