Bengaluru: Former minister and Congress leader Zameer Ahmed Khan on Monday slammed BJP MLA Somashekar Reddy for alleged provocative speech against Muslism and targeting those protesting the CAA.
Addressing presspersons after meeting former chief minister Siddaramaiah Zameer said, “State government should take strict action against Somashekar Reddy for his provocative statements against Muslim community. If not we will protest in front of his residence.”
“Somashekar is just trying to destroy the peace of the country. India is a secular country where Hindu, Muslims, Christians and Sikhs are living peacefully. He is a stupid person,” Khan said
Somashekar Reddy Addressing the demonstration in support of the controversial citizenship law had said, “If you do any nakra (drama). Then if 100 per cent people come, understand what will be your situation. Congress bevkoofs (idots) are lying to you, believing them you are coming on streets.”
“We are 80 per cent, you are 17 per cent, if we react, what will be your situation. Be careful”, he had warned.
