Rationalist Narendra Nayak faces life threat

Mangaluru: A CCTV footage of a man enquiring whereabouts of rationalist Professor Narendra Nayak has come to light.

The incident happened at Ladyhill here where an unidentified man was seen enquiring about Nayak with a security guard at his apartment.

When the security guard grew suspicious, the man fled from the spot in no time before the security guard could act.

Narendra Nayak said, “I am demanding justice for slain RTI activist Vinayak Baliga and also fighting human rights violation cases and other illegal activities in the city. There are many outfits that are waiting to eliminate rationalists. Following threats, I have written to city police and the state government. The police should enquire about the man,” he said.
