It has been reported that the locals caught a vehicle red handed while they were throwing meat waste from chicken stalls in public places coming under Vittal and Puttur station limits.
Despite several complaints from the locals, the gram panchayat and the police had failed to take any action earlier.
Later the waste was dumped in Puttur dumping yard after paying necessary fees.
