Shiroor seer death; missing gold found

Udupi: The missing DVRs was allegedly thrown into the river by deceased Shiroor seers close aide Ramya Shetty’s son. 

During interrogation it was revealed that Ramya’s son was asked to toss it to the River Swarna which flows by the Mutt premises. 

The police had asked expert divers to find the missing DVRs from the river. 

The DVRs have been sent to forensic science laboratory. It has been said that the investigating team has drawn alternative ways and will investigate the case from different angles to find more on the case if the DVRs fail to help their investigation.

However, it has been reported that the gold ornaments have been handed over to a Sri Lakshmivara Theertha Swamiji.
