New Delhi/Mangaluru: MP Nalin Kumar Kateel met with Minister for Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) Nitin Gadkari and informed him about the slow pace of work on Pumpwell which is causing much undue trouble to travelers and on how the opposition parties were using this as an excuse to accuse the MP and BJP party for the slow pace of the work.

The MP requested the union minister to initiate strict action against the project contractor ‘Navayuga’ construction company.

Understanding the situation, Nitin Gadkari took immediate measures and directed for a joint meeting within a week with National Highway Authority officials, Navayuga company official and the MP at Gadkari’s office in Delhi.
