Farmer loan waiver only if I had got majority: HD Kumaraswamy

Mangaluru: With the commencement beginning for his confirming as the Chief Minister of Karnataka, HD Kumaraswamy took up a short trip to visit temples in Dakshina Kannada on Tuesday. 

Visiting Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala on Tuesday morning, the HDK choose put forth a somewhat rather vague statement with regard to waiver of farm loans. "I had promised to waive off the loan if we get complete majority. The voters did not give us the majority. Nonetheless, I will ensure that approaches helping farmers in a big way will be brought in place"

He said that even in this coalition government, he will attempt his level best to protect the interest of the farmers. "I would need to discuss this intricately after the floor test," he said.
