School staff union protests demanding transfer of sexual assault case in school to CBI

Mysuru: Demanding the government to hand over the sexual assault case on a student at a private school in Bengaluru to CBI, teaching and non-teaching staff of Karnataka State Non-Aided Schools staged a protest near Gandhi Circle here Monday, January 13.

A few miscreants have pelted stones and destroyed furniture, without realizing the ground reality. It is not yet ascertained if the girl was raped by the school PT master. Vehicles have been burnt. The accused has been brutally assaulted in front of the policemen. This, being a pre-planned assault, the case should be handed over to the CBI, said President of the Association  P S Rajasekhara Murthy.
