Karnataka election anthem released

Bengaluru: The Election Commission has released the election anthem for the upcoming Karnataka Assembly polls on Friday. “Maadi Matadana”, is aimed at reaching out to masses on the need to vote. Unveiling the anthem, Kumar said it will play an important role in promoting the ethical voting and boost voter turnout.
The 4.5-minute election anthem does not feature any celebrity as such. Brand ambassadors Rahul Dravid and C N R Rao are also not featured in the video.
The election anthem is created by movie director Yogaraj Bhat and choreographed by Imran Sardariya. Hari Krishna has scored the music and is sung by Vijay Prakash. The anthem was shot in Vidhana Soudha recently with the participation of more than 150 artists.
The anthem will be made accessible as ringtones and will be publicized on different online networking medias, Chief Electoral Officer Sanjiv Kumar said.
