These statements reflects BJP mindset: Dinesh Gundu Rao

Vijayapura: In a controversial statement a senior BJP leader and Vijayapura MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal commented that if he was the Union Home Minister he would have order the police to shoot intellectual, whom he named as “anti-nationals”. He was talking at a function organised on the event of Kargil Vijay Diwas. 

Responding to Yatnal’s statement, KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao said this was a reflection of the BJPs mindset. “This is really what they have believe in and what they think that to accomplish their objectives any amounts of death and violence is guaranteed and they will utilize any strategy to propagate their ideology,” Rao said. 

He requested that the BJP and the state government initiate action against Yatnal for issuing these sorts of open threats.
