SSLC student commits suicide after school management denies hall ticket

Bengaluru: A class 10 student committed suicide on Monday, February 11after the school management withheld the hall ticket citing a shortage of attendance.
The deceased has been identified as Janardhan (15) of Yellamma Temple Street at Nagavarapalya.
It is gathered that as Janardhan had a shortage of attendance the teachers denied him the hall ticket and also informed his mother Sridevi with this regard.
On Monday, Janardhan told his mother that he would go for tuition, but he consumed insecticide, as the result he started vomiting. Though he was rushed to the Bowring Hospital the doctors could not save him, informed sources
A case in this regard has been registered with the Byappanahalli police are investigating the case.
