1 arrested in Surathkal animal cruelty case

Mangaluru: Police arrested one person related to the incident where a dog was tied to the rear of a bike and dragged on the road near NITK in Surathkal.

A case was registered at the Surathkal police station by the person who had captured the video of the incident.

Police officials promptly arrested one of the people soon and are on the lookout for the second person.

The arrested has been identified as Neelappa, a resident of Koppal district.

It was reported that both the persons committing the cruel act are from northern Karnataka.
