100th day celebration of police phone-in programme

Mangaluru: It will be the 100th day celebration of the police phone-in programme on Jan 4th. The programme has been conducted regularly from the police commissioner’s office on every Friday. In this backdrop a special conversation and felicitation programme will be held.

With the aim to listen to the problems faced by the public in the city, the police phone-in programme was held at the office of the police commissioner on Aug 5th 2016th. In the programe from 10 am to 11 am in the morning, the public made calls through 2220801, 2220830 umbers and informed of their problems. The phone-in programme will be held as per usual on Jan 4th too.

Conversation, felicitation

On Jan 4th, from 11 am to 12 pm, the police commissioner will hold talks with officials from different departments and the media. On this occasion, the staff of the police department and the chief warden will be felicitated. Prizes will also be distributed to the students who won I the drawing competition, informed DCP Uma Prashanth (Crime and Traffic).
