1,220 COVID-19 cases, 1,175 recoveries in Karnataka

Bengaluru: In the last 24 hours in the State, 1,220 new cases of COVID-19 infections and 19 deaths were reported by the Health and Family Welfare Department evening bulletin.
The bulletin stated that 1,175 infected patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals.
On Friday, 1,79,227 tests were conducted and the positivity rate is 0.68 per cent.
There are 18,404 active cases in the State presently.
In capital Bengaluru, 319 new infections and 8 deaths were reported with 202 recoveries. There are 7,718 active cases in the city.

Bagalkot 1, Bellary 8, Belgaum 24, Bengaluru Rural 19, Bengaluru Urban 319, Bidar 0, Chamarajanagar 5, Chikkaballapur 3, Chikkamagaluru 34, Chitradurga 12, Dakshina Kannada 232, Davanagere 8, Dharwad 9, Gadag 4, Hassan 81, Haveri 3, Kalaburagi 3, Kodagu 64, Kolar 9, Koppal 2, Mandya 20, Mysuru 86, Raichur 0, Ramanagara 3, Shivamogga 35, Tumkur 51, Udupi 150, Uttara Kannada 32, Vijayapura 0 and Yadgir 3.
