New Delhi: India blocked an intrusion attempt by China last week, which resulted in clashes between the two sides along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Sikkim, reports said.

At least 4 Indian and 20 Chinese soldiers were reportedly injured in the clashes. No firearms were reportedly used during the clashes, and the situation is said to be under control now

The ninth round of military talks between India and China lasted for nearly 16 hours on Monday as the two sides held detailed deliberations on disengagement of troops from all friction points in eastern Ladakh
