Depression can be triggered by life events such as heatbreak or losing your job, but there doesn’t always have to be a reason as to why someone is depressed. Depression can affect anyone and it is an illness.
Nobody chooses to be depressed. It can affect various things in your life such as relationships, work, and education. Nobody wants to have a low mood all the time and find everything an effort.
Although, Children do not experience the same problems that adults do, like work-related stress or financial pressures, they can become depressed. Childhood brings its own unique set of stresses, such as bullying and the struggle for peer acceptance.
Depression is treatable and several treatment options are available for depression, including medications and psychotherapy.
