ACT to hold ‘Desi Pups and Kittens’ adoption camp at Surathkal and Mulki today

Mangaluru: With an aim to expand its reach and also to benefit people outside Mangaluru, Animal Care Trust, Shakthinagar will be organising two adoption camps of Desi Pups and Kittens on Sunday, September 15 at Mulki and Surathkal.

While in Surathkal, the camp will be held at Virat Complex, Near Govinda Dasa College, in Mulki it will be held at Gandhi Maidan, Karnad.

Over 25 puppies and 10 kittens will be put up for adoption in this camp to be held from 10.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m today.

While no adoption fee is charged, ACT collects a nominal charge of Rs 200 as registration fee to help cover the basic medical expenses incurred.

Those who wish to adopt are required to get their valid Photo ID proof for registration. Adopting families will also have access to advise about pet care at home.
