Udupi: Actor Rakshit Shetty took a sly dig at the controversial remark made by Congress youth leader Mithun Rai stating that “Muslim king had given land to Udupi Sri Krishna Math”
Taking to Twitter, Rakshit wrote: “The temple town of Udupi has written history of more than thousand years… Why talk nonsense on a public platform when you have no idea???”
A Twitter user responded to the actor’s tweet asking Rakshit not to hold a bucket for others and rather do work that would please God.
Replying to the user, Rakshit wrote “1. Udupi is my birth place… Bucket alla, tanker hiditini… 2. With all due respect, not sure which land he is talking about but definitely not the land in car street… 3. The Ananteshwara temple is even older than Krishna Matt and the Chandramaulishwar temple is even older…”
