Mangaluru: Sandalwood Actor Dr Shivarajkumar on Saturday visited Kuttar Koragajja Temple, where he along with his family offered prayers.

The actor said that actress Rakshitha was the one who told him about the Koragajja temple and that he never knew about it earlier.

“I am happy to be here with my family. The devotees offer betel nut, leaves and Chakkuli (a type of snack usually made of rice or urad dal flour, formed into a twisty shape) to the deity, and the same is given to us as prasad. I love the simplicity here,” he added.

He also visited Sri Panjandaya Bunta Vaidyanatha Bhandaramane.

His wife Geetha Shivarajkumar, daughter Nivedita and others were present.
