Admissions to PUC begins, online classes to start from Aug 16

Bengaluru: Admissions to pre-university first-year courses have begun all over the State on Tuesday and will continue till August 31.

However, online classes of the courses will begin from August 16.

More than 8.7 lakh students passed SSLC examinations this year and combined with the students from other boards or States, more than 12 lakh students are eligible for admissions to PUC-I.

Fines have been set for admissions after August 31.

Late fees of Rs 670 have to be paid for admissions between September 1 and 11, while those between September 13 and September 25 will incur a special fine of Rs 2,890.
