Ajendra Shetty murder case: Police arrested prime accused

Kundapur: The prime accused in the Ajendra Shetty murder case has been arrested by the city police.

The arrested is Anoop Shetty, Ajendra’s friend.

Ajendra, a private financier was murdered at Kalavara in the taluk here late on Friday night.

On Friday night when Ajendra did not return home and was not replying to calls, his friends arrived at the finance office where they found him dead on his seat with a slit around his neck.

Soon the friends took him to a private hospital at Koteshwara where he was declared brought dead.

Ajendra had started the finance business with partner Anoop.

Shopkeepers nearby the finance office had said that they saw Anoop and Ajendra in the office till 8:30 pm on Friday. However, the exact cause of the murder is yet to be ascertained.
