Alia Bhatt helps 40 huts with lights in Kikkeri

Mandya: Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt’s initiative the ‘Mi Wardrobe is Su Wardrobe’ along with Standard Electricals help illuminate 40 huts with solar lamps in the Kikkeri village in the K R Pet taluk near here.
The residents of these huts saw electric lights in their homes at night for the first time in their lives.
Alia got together with a Bengaluru based organization called AROHA, which donates solar lamps to economically backward people of the society from the money it gets from the recycling of plastic bottles, and provided solar lamps to the residents of 40 huts in Kikkeri.
It has been reported that, members of AROHA organization saw the residents of this village under darkness in the evening without any source of light. And later approached them to find out that they do not have electricity in their homes after which the team coordinated with Alia Bhatt to provide 40 homes with electric lights.
