A remarkable video showcasing a BMW car seamlessly transforming into a life-sized ‘Transformer’ has taken the internet by storm and grabbed the attention of business magnate Anand Mahindra.
Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of Mahindra Group, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share his astonishment. He praised the Turkish R&D firm for its ingenuity and expressed his desire for similar innovation within his own group’s research and development endeavors.
The video, which depicted the BMW Transformer, dubbed “Letrons,” earned over 805,000 views in mere hours, leaving users awestruck by the technical marvel.

Enthusiasts marveled at the real-world application of movie magic, acknowledging the engineering feat behind the functional ‘Transformer.’
The pioneering feat, reminiscent of the iconic alien robots from Hollywood’s science fiction epics, was executed by Turkish company Letvision back in 2016.
Letrons, the brainchild of Letvision, can be operated remotely and showcases dynamic hydraulic controls enabling neck, head, arm, and hand movements. Although the transformation appeared almost magical, users acknowledged the authentic engineering work that led to this spectacle.
