Anekal: Two-year-old dies after being allegedly raped by her uncle

Anekal: A two-year-old who was raped, allegedly by her uncle has died in a hospital in Attibele.

The accused has been identified as Deepu who is said to be the toddler’s uncle. He has now been arrested by the police.

The toddler was allegedly raped by Deepu in a car on March 20.

Deepu had brought the toddler along with him from a village to his house at Attibele. Deepu sent his friend who was also in the car to buy liquor and raped the child. He then took the child to a nearby hospital but she soon died.

Later, he went to the Attibele police station and claimed that the child died due to an accident.

However, he was later arrested by the police officials after the postmortem report revealed that the child was raped and died due to excessive bleeding.
