Actress Ankita Lokhande suffered a leg injury last night and was transported to the hospital ahead of her wedding to beau Vicky Jain next week. “Ankita sprained her leg and was immediately brought to the hospital,” a person close to the situation told Pinkvilla. She has since been discharged, but the doctors have urged her to stay in bed.”
Ankita also took to Instagram to share her plastered leg picture and captioned it, “Talk To My” along with a emoticon of feet.
Last Monday, Ankita and Vicky conducted their first pre-wedding ceremony. Ankita can be seen wearing a simple green dress with a pink and golden border in images released on Instagram by the much-loved couple. She complemented her ensemble with a mundavalya, a Maharashtrian forehead jewellery with two vertical threads dangling from both sides.
For the pre-wedding ceremony, Vicky, on the other hand, wore a basic kurta. Ankita and Vicky can be seen adopting a dance position while laughing in one of the images. “I adore us BUT image abhi baaki hai mere dost (phrase from Om Shanti Om, which implies the film hasn’t concluded yet) #AnVikikahani,” Vicky tweeted in Marathi beside the photos. Ankita merely wrote “Sacred” as a caption on the photo.
