Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s daughter Vamika’s face revealed; Twitter divided

Vamika, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s daughter, has been adored by millions since her birth. The power couple, on the other hand, has steadfastly protected their daughter from the prying eyes of the cameras, even insisting that the media respect their privacy when it comes to their daughter.

The little one, on the other hand, was photographed by a cameraman yesterday as she arrived in Cape Town to watch the ODI between India and South Africa. She can be seen perched on her mother’s hand in a pink frock in clips from the match. Anushka is dressed in a black gown and carries a little sling purse. While some people have been thrilled by the news, others have been deeply disturbed by the violation of privacy.

Previously, when photos of Vamika were shared on the internet, her face was blurred to protect her privacy. This time, though, an online user shared a screenshot of Vamika’s face. Fans of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were outraged, with some urging people to delete the photo on Twitter, while others were relieved to see the child.

For the unversed, the couple had urged the media to respect their privacy and not reveal the pic of their daughter.

The statement read,  “We seek privacy for our child and would like to do our best to give her a chance to live her life freely away from media and social media. As she is older, we cannot restrict her movement and hence your support is needed so kindly practice (refrain) in the matter. A special thank you to fan clubs and people of the internet for going out of your way to not post images. It was kind and highly mature of you.”
